PER CURIAM.

A judgment and commitment order entered February 4, 2000, indicates that a jury found petitioner Michael Lamont Thomas guilty of rape and sentenced him to 480 months' imprisonment in the Arkansas Department of Correction. The Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment. Thomas v. State, CACR 00-643, 2002 WL 86881 (Ark.App. January 23, 2002). In 2004, petitioner filed in the trial court a pro se petition for writ of habeas corpus
