I. INTRODUCTION

Jennifer Van Sickle challenges the superior court's grant of primary physical custody of her daughter to the child's father, Joshua McGraw. Her appeal raises two main issues: whether the 2004 amendments to the child custody statute, AS 25.24.150, apply to this case and whether the superior court abused its discretion in awarding custody to Joshua. We conclude that the amendments do not apply here...
