At approximately 1:50 P.M. on August 30, 2002, plaintiff was injured when she slipped and fell on the platform at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan as she was about to board one of defendant Academy's buses. It had been raining throughout the day in question, as a result of which the buses traveling in and out of the terminal were wet.
