Appellant, Benjamin Scott Jacoby, pleaded guilty, without a sentencing recommendation, to two charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. See TEX. PEN.CODE ANN. § 29.03 (Vernon 2003). The trial court assessed punishment at 40 years' confinement for each offense, each sentence to run concurrently with the other.
