The defendant argues that the judge at his jury-waived trial erred when she denied his motion for a required finding of not guilty on a charge of mayhem, claiming that the evidence was insufficient to prove a specific intent to maim or disfigure the victim. The defendant also asserts, for the first time on appeal, that his convictions of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon on the same victim...
