The Commission for Lawyer Discipline, appellee, initiated a disciplinary action against Stephen E. McCleery, appellant. After a bench trial, the trial court found that McCleery committed professional misconduct in violation of Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct ("TDRPC") 1.04(a) and 1.04(c) and, as sanction, imposed a public reprimand and ordered McCleery to pay $20,000 in restitution.
