Appellant James E. Morehouse and appellee Lori Morehouse Lawson were married on July 1, 1996, and divorced on December 20, 1999. On July 2, 1996, Lawson gave birth to a daughter, A.M. A son, C.M., was born to Lawson on September 9, 1998. By agreement of the parties, the divorce decree awarded Lawson custody and set Morehouse's monthly child support at $8333.00.
