Homer Cole and Annette Mayac divorced each other, reunited, and lived together without remarrying. After being hit and injured by a car, Cole sought medical and underinsured motorist payments under Mayac's State Farm automobile insurance policy, which named Mayac as the person insured and also extended coverage to the named insured's "spouse."
