Cleveland Holmes appeals from a summary judgment entered in favor of the Macon County Board of Education and Willie C. Thomas, in his official capacity as superintendent of education of the Macon County School District (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the defendants") following the termination of his employment as a probationary principal during the 2004-2005 school year.
