The defendant, Tyree Young, was charged by bill of information with one count of possession of cocaine (count I), a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(C), and one count of possession of methylenedioxy-methamphetamine (count II), a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966(C). He pled not guilty on both counts. He moved to suppress the evidence sought to be used against him as obtained in violation of his constitutional rights, but the motions were denied.
