Note from the reporter of decisions; On February 3, 2006, the Court of Criminal Appeals issued an order in the above-referenced case granting Ronnie Lee Brown's mandamus petition and directing the trial judge to dispose of the Brown's Rule 32, Ala.R.Crim.P., petition "within a reasonable period of time from the date of this order." Judge Shaw dissented from that order and issued an opinion.
