Defendant, Nathaniel Jackson, appeals from the summary dismissal of his pro se petition for postconviction relief. He makes two arguments: (1) we should dismiss the office of the State Appellate Defender (OSAD) and allow defendant to represent himself in this appeal, and (2) the trial court erred in summarily dismissing his petition, which stated the gist of a claim of ineffective assistance of trial counsel...
