The respondent father1 appeals from the judgment of the trial court denying his motion to transfer guardianship of his minor child to him from her guardians, his sister and brother-in-law. On appeal, the respondent claims that the court's rulings on certain evidentiary matters and its denial of his motion for a continuance were improper and so prejudicial that he was denied the right to a fair hearing.
