GASKINS, J.

The defendant, Samuel K. Smith, was originally indicted for aggravated kidnapping. He entered an Alford1 plea to attempted second degree kidnapping and was sentenced to 20 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. The defendant appealed his sentence as excessive. We affirm.
