Poshua Meon Edwards was found guilty of escape in the third degree. The trial court sentenced him, as a habitual felony offender, to 21 years' imprisonment. The State's evidence tended to show the following. On May 24, 2005, Goodwater police officer Mike Rudd spotted Edwards, who was driving his automobile, and recognized him as the subject of a be-on-the-lookout bulletin ("BOLO") issued earlier that day.
