¶ 1. Michelle Smith sued her former employer, Magnolia Lady, Inc. (Magnolia Lady), alleging malicious prosecution, wrongful discharge, false imprisonment, defamation, and injurious falsehood. After discovery, Magnolia Lady filed a motion for summary judgment, which the trial court granted. The motion covered all of Smith's claims except injurious falsehood.
