In this case we address, hopefully for the last time, the appropriate calculation formula for prejudgment interest in an uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM) arbitration award. On November 9, 2005, the defendant-insured, Colin Barry (insured or defendant), came before the Supreme Court on appeal from a Superior Court judgment that confirmed an arbitration award of $49,125 in damages and a separate award of $8,351...
