¶ 1. Phillip Elliott pled guilty, to the charges of sale of marijuana, more than an ounce less than a kilogram, and sale of cocaine. These were two of the four counts of his indictment, and the remaining counts were dismissed. For the sale of marijuana count, Elliott was sentenced to serve five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, was ordered to pay a fine of one thousand dollars ($1000), and was ordered...
