In April 2004, a jury convicted defendant, George P. Bingham, of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer (625 ILCS 5/11-204.1 (West 2002)) and driving while his driver's license was revoked (625 ILCS 5/6-303 (West 2002)). The trial court sentenced defendant to a 6-year term of imprisonment on the aggravated-fleeing conviction and a concurrent term of 364 days on the driving-while-license-revoked...
