The plaintiff, Highway Traffic Safety Associates, LLC, is a consulting firm located in Bethesda, Maryland. The defendant, Gomien & Harrop, was formerly an Illinois law firm. The plaintiff was granted a default judgment in Maryland against the defendant. The plaintiff then filed a motion to enforce judgment here in Illinois under the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act. 735 ILCS 5/12-650
