Jorge Carrion appeals a judgment finding that he failed to own or maintain compulsory motor vehicle liability security in violation of La. R.S. 32:866 A(1) (the "no pay, no play" statute) and could not recover damages from his tortfeasor's insurer, National Automotive Insurance Company ("National"). He urges a good faith exception to the statute. For the reasons expressed, we affirm.
