The appellant, Scottie Lee Brand, was convicted of third-degree domestic violence (harassment), a violation of § 13A-6-132, Ala.Code 1975. The trial court sentenced him to serve a term of twelve months at hard labor in the county jail, but suspended the sentence and placed him on unsupervised probation for twenty-four months.
