STATEMENT OF THE CASE

This case stems from an automobile accident that occurred on February 23, 2001 at the intersection of Jefferson Highway and Marmandie Ave. in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Stephen Laird was the driver of a Honda Accord traveling eastbound on Jefferson Highway.
