¶ 1. Eddie Jackson was convicted in the Circuit Court of Bolivar County of the May 20, 2002 murder of Vicky Pruitt and aggravated assault of Charles West. Following his conviction, Jackson was sentenced to a term of life imprisonment for the murder, and to a term of ten years for the aggravated assault, with the sentences to run concurrently.
