The State filed a petition for delinquency charging the defendant, a minor, with armed robbery in violation of La.R.S. 14:64. He entered a plea of not guilty. Following a trial, he was adjudicated as a delinquent on the charge of simple robbery in violation of La.R.S. 14:65 and was sentenced to two years in the custody of the Office of Youth Development.
