Defendant, Ronald Stanfield, Jr., was charged with possession of cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(C). Stanfield pled not guilty at his arraignment and later filed an "Omnibus Motion and Order for Pre-trial Motions" that included a "Motion to Suppress Confession, Identification, and Physical Evidence." After a hearing, the motions to suppress were denied. Stanfield filed a writ with this Court only from the denial of the motion to suppress...
