This appeal arises out of a motor vehicle accident in which the plaintiff, Sylbert Ramsay, sustained personal injuries and property damage when his vehicle was struck by a stolen motor vehicle that was being pursued by the police. The primary issue before us is whether a release executed in favor of the lessee of the motor vehicle operates as a matter of law to release the vehicle's lessor, the claimed liability of which rests solely on General Statutes...
