OPINION

Justice ROBINSON for the Court.

The defendant, Robert Silvia, appeals from a jury verdict finding him guilty of the second-degree murder of Joseph Lima. As a result of this conviction, the defendant was sentenced to a term of sixty years—forty years to be served at the Adult Correctional Institutions and twenty years suspended, with probation.
