Defendant-Appellant Cesar Contreras-Ramos pleaded guilty to the crime of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(B). In his plea agreement, Mr. Contreras-Ramos waived his right to appeal his sentence. On August 8, 2005, he was sentenced to 70 months in prison. Mr. Contreras-Ramos timely appealed his sentence.
