Teche Financial Services, Inc., appeals the trial court's judgment granting the State of Louisiana's peremptory exceptions of no right of action and/or no cause of action. For the following reasons, we reverse the judgment of the trial court maintaining the exception of no right of action. We affirm the grant of the exception of no cause of action, and remand the matter to the trial court to allow the plaintiff opportunity to amend its petition, if possible...
