On November 14, 2003, the New Hampshire Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct (committee) filed a petition to suspend the respondent, William M. Richmond, from the practice of law for two concurrent one-year periods. We referred the petition to a Judicial Referee (Bean, J.).
