Defendant, Shawn Housley, was charged in a bill of information on July 22, 2003, with two counts of distribution of cocaine in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A)(1). He pled not guilty and filed several pretrial motions. He proceeded to trial on October 25, 2004.
