The defendant, Arthur Luster, Jr., appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of manslaughter in the first degree with a firearm in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55a. The defendant claims that the trial court, Thompson, J., improperly instructed the jury on flight as evidence of consciousness of guilt, and that the state engaged in prosecutorial misconduct during closing arguments, thereby depriving the defendant...
