SCHALLER, J.

The defendant, Kenneth Williams, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of robbery in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-135. On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly denied (1) his motion for a mistrial, which was made on the basis of the state's late disclosure of witnesses and police reports, and (2) his motion for a judgment of acquittal
