R.S. 18:491(B), objected to the candidacy of defendant, Ricky Don Pearson, for Chief of Police of the Town of Arcadia. The petition to disqualify asserted that Pearson failed to meet the qualifications for office because he was not a domiciliary of the Town of Arcadia as required by law.
