Leon Taylor was convicted in the district court for Dakota County, Nebraska, of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. Following an enhancement hearing, Taylor was sentenced as a habitual criminal. Taylor's conviction and sentence were affirmed on appeal to this court. See State v.
