Defendant, Jeffrey Williams, was convicted of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon pursuant to section 24-1.6(a) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (720 ILCS 5/24-1.6(a) (West 2004)) in 2004. On appeal, defendant argues that (1) he was not proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon; (2) he was denied a fair and impartial jury because neither defense counsel nor the court asked the jury...
