In reliance on the Supreme Court's decision in Crawford v. Washington, 541 U.S. 36, 124 S.Ct. 1354, 158 L.Ed.2d 177 (2004), the appellant argues for the first time on appeal that the trial court erred in admitting the complainant's statement — made to a police officer as she flagged him down — that her boyfriend was going to "kick her ass."
