Washington, 541 U.S. 36, 124 S.Ct. 1354, 158 L.Ed.2d 177 (2004), the appellant argues for the first time on appeal that the trial court erred in admitting the complainant's statement — made to a police officer as she flagged him down — that her boyfriend was going to "kick her ass."
