Dana Flynn was convicted of first-degree premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit perjury in 1996. Flynn was convicted of murdering Randy Sheridan, who was shot to death on December 22, 1992, in rural Geary County.
