Bevill State Community College ("BSCC") terminated the employment of Linda Combs, a part-time, tenured instructor. A Fair Dismissal Act panel upheld Combs's termination.1 Combs appealed that decision to the circuit court, which affirmed the panel's decision. She then appealed to the Court of Civil Appeals.
