¶ 1. On January 30, 2004, a jury in the Pike County Circuit Court found Louis Brown guilty of the crimes of murder and first degree arson. Brown was sentenced to serve twenty years on the first degree arson charge and a term of life on the murder charge, both to be served consecutively in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
