Following the denial of his motion for new trial, Tony White appeals his conviction for felony murder while in the commission of aggravated assault in connection with the fatal shooting of Kenneth Spearman. White challenges the admission into evidence of his inculpatory statements, a portion of the trial court's instruction to the jury, and the effectiveness of his trial counsel.
