¶ 1. Jonas Smith pled guilty to the crime of statutory rape in violation of Mississippi Code Annotated § 97-3-65(1)(b) (Supp. 2005). He was sentenced to serve twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, to be served day for day.
