In this lawyer disciplinary proceeding, the Oregon State Bar (Bar) charged the accused with violating DR 6-101(A) (failure to provide competent representation).1 A trial panel of the Disciplinary Board determined that the Bar had failed to prove that allegation and, therefore, concluded that the accused had not violated DR 6-101(A).
