This case is before us following a remand for reconstruction of the record regarding communications between the judge and the jury. An Anoka County jury found Lennell Maurice Martin guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree murder while committing a burglary, second-degree assault, and two kidnapping offenses.
