Jarrit M. Rawls was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court of Rockingham County of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of Code § 18.2-308.2. In an unpublished per curiam opinion, the Court of Appeals denied Rawls' petition for appeal. Rawls v. Commonwealth, Record No. 2049-04-3 (May 13, 2005).
