Defendant, Lawrence McDonald, was charged by indictment with two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated battery. Following a bench trial, defendant was convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery, an uncharged offense, and sentenced to 28 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). Defendant's convictions were reversed on appeal and the case was remanded...
