Denise R. Hite sued her employer, Vermeer Manufacturing Company ("Vermeer") and her supervisor, Rick Leedom, for retaliation in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The jury returned a verdict in favor of Hite and awarded her back pay. The district court awarded Hite front pay, liquidated damages plus interest, and attorney's fees. The district court1 subsequently denied Vermeer's and Leedom's motions...
