Denise R. Hite sued her employer, Vermeer Manufacturing Company ("Vermeer") and her supervisor, Rick Leedom, for retaliation in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The jury returned a verdict in favor of Hite and awarded her back pay. The district court awarded Hite front pay, liquidated damages plus interest, and attorney's fees.
