Fred's Stores of Tennessee and its employees Joyce Todd and Phyllis Purcell (collectively "the Fred's Store defendants") appeal the trial court's denial of their motion for summary judgment on the claims of the plaintiff, Sylvia Byrd, as next friend of her nine-year-old daughter Tynesha, arising from Tynesha's visit to Fred's Store.
