Defendant, Joel Jeffers, was charged with driving under the influence (625 ILCS 5/11-501(a)(2) (West 2002)). Defendant moved to quash his arrest and suppress his statements. The trial court denied defendant's motion to quash his arrest but granted his motion to suppress his statements.
